Companion Care:

Light House Keeping
- Personal Laundry: including towels, linens, and blankets of client
  - Washing and drying with client’s preference in mind (sorting, dryer vs line dry if acceptable)
  - Using client’s preferred products (client proves)
  - Assistance in folding and putting items away
- Dusting decors, tables, and furniture
- Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping floors
  - Includes weekly in “unused” areas of home
- Tidying living areas and kitchen
  - Includes washing and putting away dishes
Meal Preparations and cooking
Transporting and Escorting*
- Shopping
  - Help to make a list of items needed
  - Ensuring correct item, brand and quantities
  - Appointments
  - Help ensure timely arrival to Medical, Dental, etc.
  - Entertainment
  - Leisure shopping, movies, dining out
Medication Reminder
- Ensure self-administered medications and vitamins are taken on time
Companionship
- Sharing interests (reading, scrap-booking, sewing, etc.

Personal Hygiene
- Bathing
- Assistance in and out of shower/bath
- Hair care (shampooing, conditioning, drying)
- Washing (hard to reach areas or dignified full body if applicable)
  - Bed bath if applicable
- Oral Hygiene

  - Denture care and maintenance
- Skin Care
  - Moisturizer
  - Shaving
- Make-up (application and removal) at clients request
If skin is broken: cleaning and bandaging
Dressing
- Day/night wear

- Around the house
- In and out of vehicles

- Use of cane, walker, wheel chair, or lifts

*Please note that Cosner’s Comfortable Care, LLC uses Uber Health to transport clients to appointments and for social outings. If you do not want to use this service, arrangements must be made in advance to provide transportation for both client and caregiver.
